Where we are now:

"The State and the county clerks, who are defending New Jersey's primary ballot design laws and practices, filed a motion to dismiss the case. All written arguments have been filed, and the newly-assigned presiding judge, Hon. Zahid N. Quraishi, may schedule a hearing on the motions, or may decide them without further argument. No timetable has been set for a decision."

County Line Motion to Intervene by Camden County Democratic Committee

Plaintiffs' omnibus response to the motions to intervene by the Cumberland, Morris, Union, and Warren Republicans

"On May 31, 2022, Judge Quraishi largely denied all seven of the Defendants' motions to dismiss, allowing this case to proceed to discovery.  Between July and August 2022, three Democratic county organizations, a county clerk, and four Republican county organizations each filed motions to intervene (i.e., to participate) in the case, in further opposition to the Plaintiffs' arguments. The Plaintiffs vigorously opposed those motions, and we are awaiting a ruling from the Court."
